Imma get it. Regardless of how it stacks up to FM4, it should be fun & worth the monies. The look of it is pretty breath taking IMO.

Now that I think about it, Test Drive was open world right? Test Drive also didn't have upgrades, let alone tuning right?

Horizon has upgrades and open world, but can you own your own house/garage? Hmm...

TDU had upgrad packages. sorta like the newer NFS's.. now that you mention it im gonna go play test drive 1 now

TDU 2 is pretty good. I like it every bit as much as I liked TDU, the graphics are better, the cars handle better. Seems like there are less cars though. There is "offroad" racing (SUV only unfortunately), dirt roads everywhere (super fun with the STI when exploring). Yes, it still has a crappy upgrade system. Yes you can paint your cars with decals, but the paint shop is clunky and annoying to use. No you cant tune the cars. Yes its still hella fun.

And Forza Horizon is completely poised to just blow the Great TDU series out of the water. IMO. Tuning or no tuning.

That's why I'm considering it. I would LOVE to build an 86 and pop up the headlights to cruise down Colorado at night...

I'll get it anyway.
Cruising is fun too. Photographing is fun to.
Cross-gaming with cars from Forza 4 in Horizon is fun too.

That is the one thing i am worried about, is car selection. They usually gear those games torward super cars (As you see with the VIP pack) but I would rather beast up a prelude, 22b, FC, etc...

It would be pretty badass if they had the BRZ version in that game rather than the FRS.

I hope they have kits you can choose from. That might be getting a little too deep, but wouldnt it be awesome if you could add fog lights or different colors HIDs... I know not many car about that, but I'm a painter - I work for style... lol
