Preparing for the matsuri. 350hp/313ft-lbs along with ripping the guts out and dropping it on Tein suspension. Looking good.

Traded the GTO for THE "TheLowLife" S13 vert that Graham did. Looks super clean and I love it.

I've come to like it much more now with the low hp cars. It's actually a lot more fun with less hp.

What kind of power are you putting out?
I have one tuned to around 200hp, which is kind of pushing it to be able to hold really long drifts but it will slide once the tires are warmed up, my new BNB S14 is 299hp and cost less than 30k all in, I figure it could probably hang with some more powerful cars.

My missile ones have 350. Still need more, but I've been practicing more and more with less hp. Also, I haven't built it with the SR. I'll have to see where I'm at with that.

my missile 350hp S13, with stock S13 SR is awesome, if your on the wheel i think you can drift it pretty easy. mine is really grippy but it still kicks out pretty easy

It's easIER. It's still a lot of work to keep it side ways. I have the tire pressure set to 30/31 when it's normally 24/25. I need less grip. I'm on stock tire/width and still have too much grip. 25hp would be money.

lol I am running like 40ish rear tire pressure on my lower powered tunes. and stock tire compound. I am usually around 32-34 on my high power cars (400hp+)with street tires..
The all the silvias drive me nuts how they look a lot lower in the back, I raised the back of the S14 an inch just to get the wheel gap looking even, that one change made a huge difference in handling. I havent even driven it with the wheel yet but its super easy to drift with the controller....goes everywhere I point it and slides on command.....well with a clutch kick and/or weight transfer.....
if you use a wheel VW I can send you a few tunes to try

I use a wheel retro. I've got it working, but I'm afraid of following another car. For me to get it to drift, I have to be full throttle the whole time.

i use 27 psi up front, 38 in the back with -1.5* rear camber. on max width street tires, it takes a few laps to get heat in the tires but once it gets heat its easy/fun, im affraid to tandem with it too cuz its full throttle. BUT, my 300hp S14 with same suspension setings, i have no problem tandeming.. maybe cuz its on stock tires

ill send a couple of my "better" tunes over. sounds like my driving style might be a little different, I've been drifting with wheel since FM2 so its sort of subconscious but I think I like to pump the gas through the turn so to speak. But there is nothing better coming out of a turn with your foot to the floor just killing it. I usually have gears 3 and 4 set real tight when using a race trans, and have the cars tuned so you can shift mid corner and they don't really get upset. Lets you really power through a corner. Like you've noticed, its usually more fun with less power than something with 500-600hp in S class.
