Type of Challenge: Points Drift
Location: Suzuka East
Car: Any personal BNB car tuned to A class or below. No shop/team cars.
Deadline: Sept 7, 2012 - Sept 13, 2012


This week's Challenge takes place on Suzuka East, using your personal BNB Cars only, A class or below. If your car is built higher, feel free to remove some parts to enter.


How to Enter
Simply take a photo of your race results and post the photo to enter, be sure that your gamertag, car, car class, and score/time is visible in the photo. Take a look at this Sample image borrowed from TRK.

You can update your entry as many times as you want until the deadline. Please only use one post for your time entries. If you set a faster time, edit your original entry post to update the images and time.

my record is 36k so i wonder how close i can get using a 380hp scion over my old 926hp camaro

considering we were getting high 20's with the stock FRS on Tsukuba Short, once again focusing on one track with one car for a week we should be able to set some pretty high scores.

Too bad 90+ degree entries don't count for points!
I still kinda suck at tandems but I should be able to do better on the track alone.

I hope to get somewhere along the lines of 30-32k.

BTW for anyone looking at this thinking "ahh points drifting is for p**sies" drift a lap and post a pic BOOM $250. it takes literally 5 mins to drift 1 lap and get a pic on photobucket or flickr

My opinion is there are so many good drifters here, then this should be an easy challenge right?

Now to strive for the 32k!

The Hachi is struggling with the first corner and a little bit bouncing off the limiter on the third and second to last corners.
Might have to think about getting that Race Transmission..

Is that the Hachi I helped tune?

If you get a race tranny, let me know. I can fine tune the gears down to the "T".

Yes!
I found out that it gets more angle if I press the accelerator a little bit than when I floor it, it gets in a kind of floaty state.
It feels nice!

if you have the sport trans, just lower your final drive ratio in 0.10 increments to get a little more top end until you aren't on the limiter so much.

As long as the rest of the gearing isn't holding you back, Race trans probably isn't necessary, unless you want it.

It's as high as I can have it at the moment.

holy crap this thing is wierd feeling lol, i like it alot tho.. straightned up on one of the S turbs and was at as much angle as i know i can be at

Hmm.. I haven't tried to build a Scion drifter.
I should get better in this car first :]

i put my stock tires/width on it and it still feels like i got my 275 street tires on it lol.. and i took the wing off

yea the damn FRS handles tooooo good IMO. lol. I put together a drift tune last weekend with the shop car, it works ok, but still grippy and twitchy.
