| I've got some cash flow coming today and over the weekend, and i can't decide on which one i shud get..
Horizon wud be fun all, and just about every1 who is on friends list plays it, but i wud need the 240 DLC when it comes out to fully enjoy it
As for Halo, although i have never owned a copy, I've played and beat every single one that's come out, either at a friends house or by borrowing their copy. and i really enjoy the series, and the way they've adapted to the books.
it's a very tough decision
to get Horizon for online
or Halo for mostly offline
any help? | |

| yeah i've gone through like 5 now and they all say the same thing
Halo 4 is a great addition to the series, and 343 industries have done well to make it feel new, while tying it to the original trilogy.
the only bad things i hear about, are from CoD boys trying to compare it to COD

| I've seen the E3 videos and several other gameplay vids. It looks too much like an alien version of COD to me.
(I'm not a COD fanboy, I hate the games after COD2.)

| You're telling me that CoD4 wasn't the best CoD you've ever played? Seriously? That game was state-of-the-art, and still is in my eyes. | |

| I didn't agree with the fact that people who played the game a lot had an advantage over people who didn't. I like pick up and play shooters, not ones where you need to play all the time to get the best weapons. Almost all the games are like that now..
I am also biased because I think the Halo series is starting to look like a money milking business. Nonetheless I loved Halo: Combat Evolved and Reach. 2 was okay too but 3 sucked major ass.
But meh. | |

But meh. i didn't like the Ai that u teamed with in Reach, but it was a great play, as was ODST, as for 3, it felt like it was just put out there to conclude what bungie had started. but Halo is the definition of pick up and play shooter. and halo 4 doesn't look to be any different game play from the rest, except the story is more focused on Cortana rather than Chief

| In my eyes, CoD:4 was the best and Halo 2 was the best. Halo 3 did suck donkey genitals and I agree with you on that; the Halo games are starting to look like money milking businesses. Halo: ODST was a piece of crap and so was Reach.
If you like pick up and play games, then you should try the new NFS: MW. It has all the cars unlocked from the jump, all you gotta do is find them. I personally DO NOT like that, based off the previous NFS: MW.
To answer the OP's question, I don't know about Halo 4 but Horizon is not worth $60.

| Ah but racing games is an entirely different genre. A racing game shouldn't be more of an arcade game than Horizon, for me the only racing games I can play for now are the Forza franchise. I get angry and bored when playing NFS's other than Underground 2 or occasionally drifting on Pro Street.
And if we're talking about money milking; NFS/EA is the WORST.
Anyway, from what I've seen Halo 4 isn't worth the 60 euros here. I'd pay 20 euros for it though, when it's cheaper and I've heard friends of mine talking and appreciating the game.
For now I'm very disappointed with what I've seen.
I think the 65 euros I spent for Horizon are very much worth it. I truly love the multiplayer, both the races and the free roam. The single player mode is pretty easy to get money so you'll have enough money to spend on your favorite cars. Horizons photomode is brilliant as well. I'm not bored at all with the game and I see myself playing it for quite a while still. The game is perfect to make stories on BNB as well ;]

| Halo will keep you interested for about a week, if you casually play through the story mode. After that, it has no replay value, and the online sucks. Horizon is, as much as it seems not to be, still a Forza game, and everyone loves Forza, right? After you're done with the single player, you can play a multiplayer that is actually fun, both competitively and relaxed. | |

| Hmm, I don't really have a problem with it. But I meant it more like this: "The open world give the option to shoot a lot of different compositions, which is a lot of fun. Rather than a closed track I mean." Instead of the actual photomode itself :]
What do you hate about it actually? I only hated that sometimes the photos can't handle the subtle changes in colours which turns it into lines.
