Im returning to Xbox..FH should i buy?

As the title says im returning to xbox within the next month so im now wondering is forza horizon worth buying? feel free to put your review of the game i wanna know if i should waist my money on it (ive been playing it on my friends but im not sure how i feel about it)

I've heard nothing but positive feedback from the dozens I've talked to about it, they said its hundreds times better than the demo, the cars look great, sound great, drive great, the races and free roam is fantastic, and several people who said they'd never buy it, hired it from a video shop to 'see how cr*p it is' and after an hour or two of playing, took the game back and bough it, they gave it 11/10 which is good considering they didn't want anything to do with it initially. My advice if your sceptical, hire it from the video shop and play for a bit, then make a decision

Great game. I played for 6 hours straight last night, aside from porting over another paint job tonight I am going to try and take a break. I did 2 or 3 races right off the bat when I started to get them out of the way and keep the game from pestering me about doing stuff to advance my progress, then bought a 64 impala, race suspension, race trans, and some rims and started crusing. I think I am only at 6 or 7% completion, already around Rank 150, and around 60% discount on parts.

On the wheel, with simulation steering turned off, all other aids off, super easy to handle the cars and super easy to drift. I was in a party chat for a few hours and it sounded like most of the controller guys liked simulation steering turned on. With no tuning, now you spend more time perfecting the build of your car to get it feeling how you want. Race suspension feels great on pavement, feels like shit and really bouncy when you go off road. Tires are way gripper all around, If you make a reasonably powered drift car you are going to want to stick with stock tires.

I have only bought 2 or 3 cars, you win cars and money really quickly if you do races. Makes sense because there are a lot of expensive cars you can buy.

I ported over 1 paintjob so far to throw on the storefront, one that I painted on FM3, ported to FM4, and now ported to Horizon with no changes. Maybe I am exaggerating, I feel like it looks even better in Horizon.

It's fun, but the gears are retarded for drifting and if you're in third you just lose your power really fast.

I agree it sucks you are stuck with the default gearing on the race trans. I think the "losing power" thing definitely depends on the car though. My mid B class Impala tears it up in 3rd gear.

if your losing power run stock flywheel or smaller tire?

To answer your question... Yes.

6 hours put down last night.

Maxed out drift, e-drift, and popularity (now I don't care about the points thig, so I turned it off). Drifted for about 5 hours and never got bored. This game is fantastic. Take out drivetrain swaps and tuning? Please, I can still have way more fun. I honsetly didn't think I was going to like this all that much, I just picked it up to pass time, but this is by far one of the best games I've played in a while. It has its problems, but overall, fantastic. This should be in every car guys Xbox. Period.

Hmmmm I really need monies, Think i'll trade in some games after I go to the hobidal tomorrow and see if gamestop will keep me an LCE copy for a couple of weeks until I get my wages and hopefull my tax for will be processed by then and I will get some money instead of the "goverment" getting all of it.

it's really sick online. I was using an 86 most of the time, and im gonna try putting a stock flywheel on. It's a really good for screwing around though, on and off line
