| Some of you guys must be knee deep in Horizon by now.
I'm interested to hear your considered opinions of the game now that you have had time to make some progress and digest it all. Do you think it is going to hold your interest in the long term?

| That's a good question right there. The game is pretty fun and all, but to me, I don't think it'll stay fun in the long run. Then again, this game is based on the street scene. We should be getting pretty decent packs for the next months ahead. To me, it's going to depend on how great the packs are, and if T10 and PG are actually taken time on providing a great quality of cars. Me saying that means, I don't want to see no 4X4 tuners, paint bugs on certain cars, and etc. | |

| As long as they keep updating the mulitplayer free roam challenges each month, I can see myself being interested in the game for the next few months easily. Maybe even till FM5 comes out. I havent even touched any rivals events yet.
I know a lot of people are/were critical of the TDU series of games, but for what they were, I loved them. While Horizon has a much much smaller map it pretty much improves on that idea in every way.
Admittedly, the single player is too short though. Again, we'll see what happens with the DLC, they referred to the Rally pack as the "first" expansion. To me that implies there might be another/others.
Think of it this way. I say its an arcade game, but it physics wise with all the assists off, feels A LOT like FM4, with an open environment.
I do sort of hate how all the speed traps/zones pretty much encourage everyone to use the fastest cars in the game, but like I said I havent looked into Rivals (are there even rivals events that arent just replaying the single player races?). I have more fun with B/A class cars for sure. Ok so maybe the really fast cars are kinda fun too.

| I'm actually enjoying the cat and mouse multiplayer mode on horizon a lot better. On FM4 the mouse just makes a hummer and you can't do shit to it. However in this game no hummer! The closest thing might be the ford raptor or whatever its called but it can still get pushed around. The single player is alright but it won't hold interest long term. Hopefully the rally expansion will be really good and add some variety to the game. I was hoping they would have some touge or drift events in the game sort of the way grid had it but no dice I have not tried the free roam multiplayer that might be cool, I'm sure someone else here has tried it though. | |

| Heck yea. Me, cougar, and TRK did some Co-op challenges on Multiplayer free roam. It was too fun. Cruising to the start location, doing a few runs down the highway. I actually want to do that again. | |

| sucks you cant keep racking up money for doing them over and over haha.
Me, Lainford, and iTonehh, a few random friends and a few from the GRM forums were doing a lot of the Multiplayer Free Roam Cruise Challenges and a few speed trap challenges last night. We ALMOST got the I-70 200mph challenge completed so many times, lol.

| I am loving it right now, but once the single player is all done, and I max out on races/roads, etc... Then I see myself bouncing around alot more between this and fm4/BF3. Right now it's all horizon, but once you lose tht push to get to the next level (because there are none) then it might get a little boring. We shall see...

| I don't know, Mooove. Horizon for me is multiplayer, cruising and photo shooting. I haven't been fixed on "leveling up" other than getting cash to buy cars.
The paintshop is waiting as well :]
I hope T10 will provide world expansions as well. And update the multiplayer challenges either weekly or monthly. I'd prefer weekly :]

| Good Point TRk, we did have a blast doing absolutely nothing (we did complete a few challenges)....
They need to get a photo mode in the free roam. I wonder why they left that out...

| It's probably left out because it takes too much CPU to do the photomode+adjustements in real time. I'd say it should be possible to pose, get into photomode and just capture that exact frame. Like a pause button. While you're photographing your car is just standing like it was before and others can move. | |

| Thanks everyone for giving your thoughts on the game. Interesting to see how it develops with the DLC. | |

| I hear you on the bit about stories. I wish my BNB car was available on Horizon, as it would make my stories much easier to write, but I guess I'm going to have to wait and see if they release it as DLC. | |

| I'm pretty sure they'll add an MR-S. The game doesn't have enough lightweight Touge cars :] | |
