LOL, i want a LS/turbo so i dont have t deal with vtec . i got a buddy building a stock motor B18LS turbo making 300FWHP on 11PSI. i wanna go that route with full suspension for attacking country roads. but id take a GSR and do minor bolt ons with it.

I hear ya artwebber...........used to be good........up here on the gold coast the broadie car club meets on saturday night were the biggest in the country............2-300 cars every weekend.

Since the riots that happened here a few years ago over the easternats being canceled a week before the event cops just flood the streets .
I get the odd message here and there letting me know about the secret meets and highway drags they change a lot due to cops getting word of it then they go on a big blitz used to be Fridays now it's Thursday nights not a cop in sight well for now at least lol .
I think my inlaws showed me all the hot spots last time I was at surfers paradise And around the Brisbane area .

yeah man they used to do 20 car blockades on the M1 highway................but i remember someone got caught doing close to 300 km........and the cops and public flipped out.
the cops used to block the broadie car park and and check every car for defects...........and we all know 95% of cars can be defected most of the time.
i had an 74 camaro at the time.

I remember I was on a massive cruise a few years back they blocked off this massive car park everyone got word of it a few minuites before they came and in the rush people were getting blocked in .
I was near the exit and got past parked my car in a car park next to a restaurant I felt like Dom out of fast and the furious when he hides the rx7 in the gararge lol .
Was the biggest bust for modifyed cars that year made the paper :-) .
Skylines are awesome a work mate whent though a mid life crisis and bought a r33 GTR that car was insane when on boost .

yeah man if your talking about the broadie car park ....i used to be there all the time in a bright yellow ZA fairlane or my CAMARO ...........the thing that really set it off was when 1 cop car came into the car park of a couple of hundred people and try to bust these guys but as they had their backed turned some dick heads vandilised the shit out of the cop car......on the STEALTH.
After that the cops had enough then weekend car park block ins were the norm.
In Toowoomba where im from originally the boys used put the drag lx lh torri's up on trailers take them out back to the farms and race...........best noise in the world 454 supercharger screaming in the middle of km's of nothingness.
It ended in tears when the local farmers confronted them with over and under shot guns........best motor/car experience yet...........god i miss the old days for car culture .....the youth these days have no idea how bad ass it was 20 years ago.
