| I think I might order some kits in a couple weeks, now that I have a damn job. Gonna pre-order the Rasty PS13: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]There's also this one with an R34 front bumper: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]And probably order this to get started: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Fujimi makes great S13 molds. Not quite up there with Tamiya (and haven't owned an Aoshima one) but the S13 is one kit that they've been working on for a very long time, and they totally nailed. | |

| I have 2 weeks left of school before summer. Going to do a couple kits over the time I have off: 7 weeks. Ad, you recommend anything to start with? | |

| Depends what kinda car you wanna do. Fujimi kits build up pretty fast, but sometimes the molds are spotty so stuff won't fit perfect without some modification/persuasion. Tamiya kits are super-detailed, as are Aoshima in most cases, and will run a higher price.
Whatever you get, I'd start with Fujimi kits. They offer a million different versions of every car in Forza, and are about $20USD a pop. They're usually "curbside" kits (meaning they have the bonnet molded on and no engine inside) so they build quick and look great when you have a bunch on your shelf. The spotty fitment is a great training tool to get you into modifying kits to make your own bodykits and stuff.
Since I haven't been in the scene for about three years, I'm gonna start with some Fujimi S-chassis kits, and work my way up to some kind of 240Z. The vintage cars have lots of chrome and rivets and trim that requires a steady hand, haha.

| Yeah, the guys on there are incredible. I wonder if my pal Jimmy (CrewDawg18) still hangs around. Dude makes perfect 1/24 replicas of any engine from scrap plastic and exhaust manifolds and headers from solder. He's clinically insane. | |

When you consider the effort it took to create it, it's really not. | |
