I think after GRDA, I'm officially retiring from the school of high-horsepower drifting. Low horse is where it's at! They are just so much more fun and easier to control - not to mention so much cheaper to build!



That's an absolutely flung-in 90-degree entry in a car with less than 300 horsepower and stock tires. And that's Chia's silver (paint not loaded) PS13 behind me - he'll vouch that it pulled that off lap after lap after lap.

I don't even want my sponsor car anymore. Seriously. Cue revelatory J-rock.

i have 2 86 tunes that are pretty epic one is 200hp the other around 250.

I guess I should drift tune the gremlin since its just sitting around not doing anything. low hp/high torque

if the pinto dont sell i might build it for a fun, V8 drift car. if i cant buy teh GRDA car off my sponser. ATM its just a dust collecter :/

Mine isn't HP limited, just money limited.

Yes.
I've built a drift car for $7,400 now, an SR20 powered S13.
Remember that the sport suspension, sport weight reduction and the 2.0 way differential are free. I'm still looking for second hand adjustable suspension and perhaps even an aftermarket exhaust.

I've tried several other cars that will work, even if there are no second hand parts available.

I'm trying to get Smooth to bring up the Scrapyard but I will discuss that with him.

An SR20 powered S13? Unless you're talking about the stock SR20 in it, the S15 SR20 is another $7k on top of the cost of the car, making it $14,000+.

He bought it cheap I think.

Okay, well then the car is $7k and he's saying he built it for $7,400. That means he must've bought the engine for $400 or maybe he bought the car for $4k and the engine for $3,400. Idk, it still doesn't add up. If the tournament goes through, I'm gonna build a 185 HP AE86.

He got the car for like 3500 I believe.
