| i dont care if we use in game pricing for rims. but I really dont change the look of my cars very often. and i'm a self indulgent weiner with too much bloody money.
I am mostly just happy that certain tires no longer cost $10k
Speaking of pricing and maybe this is off topic. can we consider a reasonable all inclusive price for all the rally upgrades in Horizon? You can't enter the Horizon Rally events without all the parts installed and that would make for some hella fun time attack events for the forum.
Like an $8k Rally upgrade package or something.

| I think that Volks should be around $35,000 and Enkeis around $30,000. Per wheel. | |

| Rims will be staying their regular prices. 2k is way too low for something you dont change on your car often and in my opinion is a fair price. Dont hit me | |

| K.
I would argue that wheel whores and people who just like variety would change their wheels a lot more than engine components, but I get where you're coming from.

| I'm pretty sure I had to pay $7,000 for rims on my RX7.
Just make rims the same as in game, but don't make us pay to up-size them.
To do an 18/19 stagger, cost more than the rims themselves.

| Well, you pick rim size when you buy them, yeah? So if the guide says a set of ATS Classics are 3600, you'd pay 3600 for all four regardless of diameter and width, yeah? Just state in your bank statement how big they are when you buy them, like:
ATS Classic, 15in x2/16in x2 - $3,600
Yeah? | |

| No. If you look at the price lists, rim size is separate and costs as much as it does in game.
I left for a while when rims were $1500 flat. I came back and it cost $7600 for the setup on my RX7.
I even asked Smooth about it, and yes you have to pay for both rims and sizes.

| I've been given conflicting information, if that's the case. And if it is, I go back to my previous statement that the prices are utterly ridiculous. That's more than a new S-chassis.

He didn't even answer the question.

| I also found this. I'm back-tracking through the checkout for more solid answers. - Kru Jones wrote:
- If i buy rims for my car and pay the $3800 (for example) and want to upgrade the rim size (extra $1400?) is that paid as a set or per wheel?
example:
wheel---$3800 size upgrade---$1400 total: $5200
or
wheel--$3800 size upgrade--$2800 total: $6600
which one is correct? - Texas Chia wrote:

So is that width AND diameter? - TRK wrote:
- Yep.
Smooth never stepped into correct anyone, so I assumed it was right. I've been buying wheels this way since I signed up. EDIT: I think I may have misinterpreted "get them in any size you want" as "you don't have to pay for size".

| Well, it looks like he's saying that when buy rims you can get them in any size you want.
Later if you want to change the size, you have to pay.
It's just weird that people have the idea above, yet Smooth would tell me you have to pay for both.
Where did they get their info from, and why didn't Smooth correct them?

| It was so much simpler before when you just needed to pay $1,500. | |

| I dunno. I'm not seeing anything else on rims since after they bumped up from 1500 flat.
For the record, I'm not trying to put Smooth on the spot... just this has now gone full-blown confusing, with a bunch of people all thinking different things. Whereas I feel the prices are a bit high, I'll live with whatever Smooth decrees so long as I can wrap my feeble mind around it, haha.
My apologies if I've turned this into a migraine for you, Smooth.
