TheExtremeRacers was a forum a lot like BNB for the Genki Racing Project games. It's probably still around. In it, I had a shop called "Garage N", where I would hook people up with touge and kanjo racing settings. This was my shop car, a C33 Laurel.

No shit. I think I at least remember that name. I was mostly around there just for GT4 (I was 194gvan)

Haha yeah, I joined in the wake of GT3, like the last six months before GT4 came out, and hung out for like two years afterwards. Left when I got hooked on FM2.

yeah i stuck around for GT4 for a little while. Then I got FM1 and xbox live and it was game over.

I still break out TXRD2 every once in a while for several days (Kaido battle 3)

I also have Racing Battle C1 Grand Prix and its a really cool game, but the menus are straight up japanese, no engrish, so its really tiring to play always having to look thru 10 pages of menu translations to navigate the game. I have some other arcade style touge/drifting game but i totally forget what it is. not made by genki.

I've wanted to play RBC1 since forever, cheapest I ever found it was like $80 though.

I think i got it not long after it came out on play-asia.com. but you are right the exchange rates are not good lately.
