I'm disagreeing with taxes. We pay them in real life, we don't need to keep track of them in a video game.

The lobby bonuses were capped Maro... You could only get 3 lobbies a week. Also, it's A VIDEO GAME. Of course you don't get paid 8k to show up in real life. It's not about money in real life. It's about hanging out with friends and talking about cars.

The paydays could be lower. I'd say about 3k should do it. I'd even be okay with 2,500. That is, if the pricing is re-structured. I've never paid $1,500 for an oil cooler.

I also think the payday price should be lowered, like Impulse said, 2,500/3,000 is plently as long as the pricing for parts is adjusted to suit. I don't know if this is a rule or not already, but what about not being able to collect payday payouts untill you actually have your 1st car.

I seen a couple of people mention HP figures. I don't think high HP cars arn't grassroots. It's when you see a full comp spec car it starts to not be so grassroots. I think a possilble new rule stating that if you have say a full race weight reduction, roll cage, race gearbox & clutch, and some other high end mods you have the register the car for track use only. Then you still have all your other grassroots cars that still have their plates and stuff on them.

I've only just woken up, so it might not all make sence, lol.

As far as GRDA goes. You shouldnt be able to get a sponsor car, Using a sponsor car defeats the purpose of BnB cause you get a built car right off the bat.

You should either make it Privateer only or run a Pro-Am for privateers and make it so you have to get a license or something to move up and use a sponsor car.

So wait, just to be clear, are you saying you should keep the 3 8k payouts a week, but lower the payday?

No, the lobby payouts are, I think to much and to many already. I think 2 3k max payouts is more then enough.

We can't cap or stop anyone from having high horsepower cars. If you want a grassroots car build it to what spec you want and keep it there. As for lobby bonuses I think they should be left as they are, look what happened last time we tried to change them.. We can all talk about it sure, but not change anything until there are set rules in place.

We can all agree that the pricing needs a good doing over, I think FM5 is the right time to do that however.

And as far as Import Tax and stuff, I'm afraid I don't agree on that one. I can see where you are coming from, trying to make the experience as real as possible. But it could get too confusing and hard to keep track of. I'm all for keeping it real, but at the end of the day it is just a video game.

So much sense made here by Cougar. Capping HP would be ridiculous. If someone wants to spend their BnB money adding HP, that is 100% their choice. I prefer the lower HP, but that doesn't mean I'm against folks that don't. Everyone keeps saying lower the lobby bonuses and pay days because they aren't realistic. Ok, well, the parts pricing is so far skewed that the lobby bonuses and paydays only help to combat that issue. I think the biggest issue we're going to face going forward is that people think that their way of doing BnB is the only way of doing BnB. While some think BnB should be uber realistic to the point of taxes and fees to import, I believe that is taking it way too far. Going for realism is cool, but if I went to Gamestop and looked at games, and there was one that said "Hey, in this game you'll have to pay recurring taxes & registration fees just to drive cars" I'd keep walking every time. I play video games to take a break from everyday minutia, not add more.

I think the way BnB is set up as of now is pretty good, Payday is a bit much i would go down to $3k a week or so, and limit the 16man lobbies down some more, i get invites to those all the time but i never join(too busy with the shop)

Another Idea i think would be cool is for GRDA

Instead of being able to choose a sponsor i noticed that there are plenty of shops now in BnB..maybe let the people who enter approach the shops for a sponsor. each shop choose up to 3 drivers to rep them in GRDA?

Also i dont think we should do any taxes because 1) i hate them, i have to pay almost 2K in taxes IRL and 2) It isnt necessary for a game, it would just cause a headache and newcommers would just get too much of a headache.

As far as horsepower caps i dont think that should be done, if you are playing fair in BnB you earn the money fairly then you deserve to build a monster that you want. Most comps are restricted and set boundaries anyway to make things fair.

im not saying i dont agree, i do to a extent. i love any grassroots car as much as tehnext guy, but my current S13, is bassically my non bnb comp cars replica, its just down 30hp. it use to be a masturi car before i saved enough money to overhaul the engine.

This is a good idea but how many of those shops are actually still producing work, be it paints or tunes....
