I remember back in like 2004, SportCompactCar had a reader email section, and one of the questions was a dude asking if he could convert his JZA80 Supra to a drift car. They told him it would be a terrible idea because they were rare and there was no drift tuning support for the car, and that it would be sloppy and slow because of how fat it was. Nevermind that at the time, RIDOX, Top Secret, RSR, and HKS all had suspension and transmission parts with drifting a Supra in mind, and that a couple years later, SCC went out of print.
