| That's his promo car.... I would say we'd see that in FM5, considering FD was at the FM5 party last night. | |

| Drivatar info: The game will learn your driving style and how you play the game. The AI will adapt as well. You can earn credits for your account even when you are not at home.
I know a lot of people know that, but for those that don't, there you go. It'll be in the OP as well.

| Well, I don't see me buying a Xbox ONE, so I guess I won't be buying FM5 neither....
I read in the news today, US is £100.00 cheaper ( lets face it, import fees is not £100.00 sooooo I think I will have to sit it out and wait )
I presume FM5 is only on XB1?

| *From a 2 hour interview with Dan*
All cars from FM4/Horizon that weren't AAA standard were cut and redone. Drivatar sounds like it's going to be great. New reverb system with multiple layers(oh yeah!)+7.1 surround sound No night because of time constraints not technical restraints. No different tyre compounds. Ariel Atom and Caterhams seem to be in. Dan excited about real world tracks. Tuning and upgrades similar to FM4 with a few additions. Drag racing still not important to T10 No D1 drifting partnership. Tyre smoke is more than FM4 but may need to be cut back. Multiple layers of paint and damage Car count on track still undecided.(targeting more than ever before) Offline mode available, Drivatar gets cached every log in to Xbox Live.

Confirmed Vehicles Forza Motorsport 5 Confirmed Vehicle List (click the link) The E3 trailer claims that there will be "hundreds" of cars in-game (as a comparison, FM4 shipped with over 500 cars and had over 600 with all DLC included). Forza Motorsport 5 will be the first Forza game to get open wheel cars, including a couple of 1970's F1 cars and modern Indy cars. Cars will still be graded by PI and class, and road cars will still go up to the R-classes (i.e. they haven't been separated from race cars class-wise). Confirmed Locations Prague has been confirmed. Laguna Seca confirmed by Dan in the Twitch interview. Indianapolis Confirmed by Tony Kanaan at Forza Motorsport 5 E3 party. According to the E3 trailer there will be "world famous circuits". Spa Francorchamps has been unofficially recognized from one of the videos. Confirmed Game Features Confirmed new features to the Forza franchise:
Working headlights (including daytime running LEDs). [N.B. were in Horizon but not FM] The game will make use of the Xbox One's 'Impulse Triggers' - providing different vibrations and feedback to go with engine roar or tyre damage. There will be no night cycle, and no weather effects (except for mild fog/mist). Variable track friction depending on track position i.e on/off the racing line, or on the marbles. Possibly "rubbering" in of the track. Cars are now 'paint-able' in a variety of different materials from 24ct-Gold to Carbon fibre. There won't be any rust. The game will feature Drivatars, that will mimic your driving style and that of your friends, and also use liveries from your favourite artists. The auction house and storefront are no more, however designs will be available to download for free, and the creator will be paid each time the car is used with the livery on it. Cars will show wear such as blueing on chrome tailpipes, discolouration etc. Confirmed existing & updated features:
A new version of Autovista - called Forzavista - will be included, again bringing detailed interiors, opening doors and functioning features (i.e. active aero). Tyre wear (now visible). There will be at least two road surfaces - tarmac and brick. There will be tyre smoke, sparks and debris. Also the dirt on cars will show up these specks of debris & dirt. The paint on the cars will be more realistic as minute imperfections will also be simulated. Cars will have backfire. There will be active aero. New damage models. Cars can still be disabled fully, but wheels will not detach. Tuning, upgrading, the PI index and classes & the livery editor will all still be present, however it is unknown what (if any) changes there will be. Confirmed Features (Tech & behind the scenes) The game will run at 60fps and full HD 1080p. Cars are now made from around 1300 unique materials, compared to up to 60 for FM4 cars. Plus it's been said that they haven't hit the limit. All existing car assets (i.e. 3D models, sounds etc) have been ditched, and the new game's car assets will be all new. Other Info/Hints A November 30th release date has been mentioned. Forzavista trademarked - Source: Link Forza Motorsport 5 will be a launch title on the Xbox One, and won't be available on the Xbox 360. It remains exclusive to Xbox. The box art cover car will be the McLaren P1. A screenshot of how the in-console DVR feayure will work with Forza: Link A screenshot of the Forza 5 Home screen tile: Link There will be a "Day One Edition" of the game.
