Well it was about that time that I got myself a car so I went looking around and found this gem of a S14 on craigslist for 6k and had to jump on it!

From the get go the car is fun as can be. I haven't decided what direction I will go with it but that will come with time I'm sure.

Well I was able to find a nice RB26 for sale online so I jumped in my truck and left for the day!

After the drive there I was able to snag that puppy up for just $7400! And was I in for a surprise! This thing is as mint as engines get! Beautiful motor that has barley 500 miles on it.

As I left the warehouse I passed by 9k racing and decided to stop in the see what they had in shop. To my surprise they were running a sale on coil overs for all silvia and skyline platforms. I had to jump on the deal and I'll tell you what I left with a smile on my face that day!

When I got home I started on the swap that weekend, which was borderline flawless if you ask me! managed to get the swap in over the weekend and escaped without a pesky check engine light!

Once I got her legal and registered I took it over the Infineon raceway for a couple laps on the NASCAR circuit. Let me tell you this car is fun! with just coilovers and some extra ponies this puppy flies around these turns! It really was a joy to run and I can't wait for my next opportunity to attend a track day!

Actually that doesn't sound like a bad idea I'll check that out!

Well today I was able to drive up to New Hampshire and do a couple of laps at maple valley for a track day they had and lemme tell you I now know what direction I am taking with this car!



After a couple of laps the car just felt right at home. The amount of grip I got from the car is astounding, I do feel like it will need better tires but it is a pretty firm drive. It is quick to 60 but does lag a little once I reach for more ponies.



I would have loved to stay there all day but unfortunately I had to leave due to an incident involving a deer that ran out in front of the track while a porsche owner was shredding his lap times!



But thats not to say I didn't have a little fun before i left



After I got home I got online and ordered some Enkei RPF1 17x9 +35 and 17x10 +35 with Nitto Neo Gen ZRs @ Front: 235/35R17 and Rear: 245/35R17

Quite excited for these new wheels to come in and I can hit the track again!
