It reminded me of Mario Kart.. The photomode of GT5 seems amazing! Too bad the cars sound like kitchen appliances and they handle like ice floats (my experience with the game and all assists off).

I miss the car and track selection, and I was a huge GT supporter until Forza 2. The game hardly innovates, the cars sound like ass, and the driving is anything but realistic. And I had a DFGT and no assists. Forza isn't terribly realistic, either, but it tries harder.
Turn 10 could do with adding more cars, though. I need four door Japanese cars. Skylines, Laurels, JZX's, etc.
Sorry for the hate, I knew it was going to be a $*** game when I realized you couldn't upgrade your brakes but they added six more versions of the GT-R. I mean really. Does anyone recognize the difference between M-Spec Nurs and V-Spec IIs? In the game, I mean. Because they're all just the same freaking car.
To end on a positive, no-hate note, I miss drifting my FD in the rain.

Just put gt5 in my ps3 for the first time in a year, after a 10 part update marathon at 1.6gig total I was finally alowed to play Pissed about buying a few different gtr's LM's and such then remembered I only have one endurance Race to complete the b spec mode, I'm only level 37 b spec so thought I'd run the 'lemon' 24h to get to 40 Then I picked my car.... Forgot about the x2010 muhuhahahaaaa I won my first fair and square in the redbull challenge so was quite annoyed when they gave one to everyone free :-( Felt like I wasted an hour learning the habits of the x2010 to earn one Anyway I digress, 3 corners into lap 8 my subby driver had lapped the bently speed 8 in second place for the second time lol Man I want that car in forza! And maybe the r33 LM, Amuse S2000, Blitz r34......

Only recently got GT5, anyone got tips for the photomode? Playing about with it finding it rediculous to get a first in B-spec without an overspec'd car. And I like how the cars do feel different (Lancer VI TM vs a 95' WRX STi) but the driving doesnt feel as correct as forza to me.

The GT5 photomode is amazing. I used to play it, ended up selling the PS3 though.

B spec is a grind without the x2010 lol Just look at your driver line up and use the guys with better raw talent and once they get to lvl 10 or so they hold thier own in races

I got easy beats on the open cups so far using a '95 WRX Saloon or '00 TM Evo VI. but the rest are shocking :/

Once they are at a decent driver level they will beat cars of the same spec, just takes a white to level them up, Mine are over level30 and don't make mistakes and are a good second a lap quicker then the comp in similar cars
