PostSubject: New to BNB   Sat Jun 16, 2012 7:36 pm

Hi there,
I've been watching BNB since forza 3, always loved the idea and only now managed to get my Forza online.

I'm just wondering if it's still okay to join if you're new to drifting/can't really drift at all? Also if so does anyone have any tips for it Smile (mostly keeping it going round the bend).

Anyway this place seems awesome, I'll sort out my Garage and car later.

Nice to meet you all,
Jordan

Yeah man, of course. We not only drift, but we also do touge, drag, and circuit racing.

I host photocomps each week as well. Welcome!

I like to toss between Muscle and Import in all fairness.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I'll start chucking my details and the garage together now any tips would be awesome.

Oh are car prizes the same as in game or do you have your own scale for them now?

Cap prices are the same, or you could check out the vehicle classifieds and see if you can find a deal. I recommend you buy my datsun 510 Wink kidding lol

Muscle, nice. Not much muscle around here.

You buy your car of choice in the "buy cars" section of FM4, but we have some cars for sale in the vehicle classifieds.

Datsun 510
'84 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE
Nissan Silvia S15

The only ones I can think of at the moment. You can also get good deals on parts.

Any part can go on any engine by the way.

how would it work? cause the stats wouldn't add up, does it also account for any engine into anycar?
Also could i do some pre-work to a car such as rust/damage before buying?

The "any engine into any car" theory won't work since we can't really do that.

There is a parts price spreadsheet link in the Community Garages section that you should take a look at when buying parts.

For example, a Silvia S15 costs $16,000 to buy from Forza. I have one for sale that costs $11,000. You could buy it and save $5,000 to spend on parts or something. You start out with $25,000 to spend on your car and parts for it. Each week you get paid $6,000 plus any prizes you get from doing comps.

If you haven't already, please take a look at the "How to get Started" section and read all the info because it'll help you out in the long run.

You can do rust and damage and stuff like that to your car, but I think you have to buy the car first before you can do any modifications or respray jobs to it.

Aye, I've read through the guide already, just asking questions I hope you don't mind.

So I could buy a Cozzie and convert it to RWD for 25k? Also is it free to remove spoilers or is that a few hundred not very clear on the cost sheet.

Thanks for the help btw, much appreciated Smile

It is free to remove spoilers and stuff like that. As long as the car is under $25,000 then you can buy it and convert it.

@Tyler: Cozzie = Cosworth.
