A photographer friend in Osaka mentioned to me about a little hachi sat in his landlords storage yard. It needed a little tlc body wise but it was perfect chassis wise and after a little bit of bartering we managed to get it over to the uk for the measley price of 6k.





Our good pals over at rouge motor sport had a low mileage I4t lump they were planning to use in one of their track cars but after some haribo and cuddles we managed to convince them to let us take it off their hands. While we checked the engine over we stripped the car of some interior parts and treated the shell to a serious session of nitromors.



Luckily most of the body panels seemed pretty straight so we decided to leave the bare metal parts and fit a full set of our aluminium 86° Wall Runner fenders and had some louvres cut in for that personal touch. While the grinder was out we also cut a vent in the bonnet over the filter and meshed it so we didnt suck up any sparrows.







With the engine finally cleared we set about fitting the new sport suspension from tein, lip spoiler from origin, and placed a few stickers we had lying around. A couple days later a rather nice package turned up from weld containing a shiny set of gold magnum 3's in a staggered fitment for extra niceness. With pretty much most of our current cash stash used up we decided to enjoy what we've created so far and take rufus for a little spin..
