grda car pay off suggestion

okay from what i gathered grda cars are worth no value. am i right?
well i have came up with a solution that when grda is over you can have the choice that instead of getting job pay you can pay the car off for like 75% of thew value or something. this is just a suggestion so tell me what you think.

Me either. You're saying the cars have no value, but you're also saying we can pay 75% of the value off if we wanna own it. A percentage of 0 is 0.

What he's saying is that at the moment cars have NO value but when the GRDA comp is over the cars can be boought for personal use in BNB...
EG...

Say I had an AE86 for GRDA and after it was built, Drifted, and wrecked. If the total build of the car came out to $40,000 you could buy the car from your sponsor for 25% off making it $30,000...

im not in GRDA but that 75% thing seems ok to me.

In most cases on the (BNB) used market you can never sell your car for 75% of the build cost, so 75% is probably in between actual used market value and full price.

As I said to matty in-game, I think this is brilliant, and would help us all feel better about being handed a crazy car for free. I would love to feel like I earned my car somehow.

Yeah it seems to all make sense now. I think it would be cool.

I'd say the 75% rule seems fine, the tournament is a pretty long stretch so the cars will be old after it.
This would only benefit the people that want to sell it, though. We already get to keep the GRDA cars after the tourney.

if you get to keep the car after the comp it means that paying 75% is redundant as you will not get that back of you sell it.
so to sell the car you will loose money....
and if i knew i could gt a 40k free id just fail to turn up to the first round like loads of others j/k

I just want a built car that I can call mine, and the clear conscience of being able to say it was legit paid for, instead of just handed to me, haha.

in that case i get it and respect you for it, its probably what id do
on the other hand it does seem too easy for other people to get a free tuned car for no real effort just mho

no mosuke what I've been trying to say is if you pay it off it become worth something plus I know people feel bad about just getting given a drift spec drift car.

i know.... it needs to be around the 50% mark to work as most people wont pay if its not what they are worth second hand just the few of you that dont want handouts
