I know we've been accepting late entries a lot lately (my own entries included)...as it is, more entries mean more prize money, so I have been letting it slide. Next event I will start up on Sunday so we have a full week again. This is event #8 of the BNB Conekillers Autocross Tournament. We will tackle every autocross location available in Forza 4 and see who is crowned the best autocrosser on BNB. We will be indexing the times for this tournament. What does this mean? Open the spoiler at the bottom of the post to read more about and see the link to the spreadsheet for examples. Type of Challenge: Autocross Location: Catalunya Grand Prix Circuit Car: Any BNB car tuned to B class or below. No Race Slicks, No Forza Aero. Deadline: February 10th 2013 Prizes - depends on # of entries. $1,500 is added to the pot for every entry, then gets divided up at the end of the event. To enter this challenge, do so by doing the following... From your career menu: -Go Race -Event List -Euro Autocross B class (if its not in B class its in A class) -Catalunya Grand Prix How to Enter Provide in your post: Your Tire Compund Your car's Horsepower Your car's Weight And post a photo of your race results to enter. BNB Conekillers Autocross Index System The indexed time is a measure of how well you did relative to the other drivers. It is similar to a golfer's handicap. The indexed time will be your elapsed time multiplied by the following factors: Tire Multiplier Stock Tires = 0.993 Street Tires = 1.00 Sport tires = 1.013 Race Tires = 1.025 Horsepower Multiplier 125 HP or less = 0.99 126 to 175 HP = 1.00 176 to 215 HP = 1.01 216 to 250 HP = 1.02 251 to 325 HP = 1.03 Over 325 HP = 1.04 Weight Multiplier Vehicle Weight < 1,800 lbs = 1.03 Vehicle Weight 1,801 to 2,150 lbs = 1.02 Vehicle Weight 2,151 to 2,500 lbs = 1.01 Vehicle Weight 2,501 to 3,000 = 1.00 Vehicle Weight 3,001 to 3,500 lbs = 0.99 Vehicle Weight > 3,500 lbs = 0.98 (Your Recorded time) x (Your Tire Compound) x (Your HP) x (Your Weight) = Your Indexed Time See the spreadsheet for examples compiled from our testing a few months ago: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Take a look at all the car's original stats, particularly the PI ratings. Its a pretty good mix. You want to build your car to take advantage of the multipliers as best you can, without putting it at too much of a disadvantage at the same time. Should get pretty interesting. These times are just examples so you can see how the actual "Raw" time gets affected by the indexing, your "Indexed" time is what will determine the winners for each event.

| I removed my Race Cam for this race so I could compete. My garage wont show it but my car for this event is B489. Sport Tire Compound 280 HP 2,738 LBS Took me about 30 times to get a perfect run that was remotely quick, but I finally got it  Index time: 3.36 If I did that right.

Haha, I used to do Cops and Ricers all the time when I first started playing forza. If I remember correctly somebody made a gamertag so we could all add it to see who else played it. Yup that was another guy though. After some time passed and he kinda slowly vanished I made another one. | |

| I've probably mentioned it more times than anyone cares to hear anymore. Not long after I started the tournament I found out I was being switched to a new department at work and being promoted.
Its become very demanding of my time, working late, going out of town for several days, etc. Its a great opportunity and I'm proud to have been asked to step up to the plate, but it does cut into my free time at home, a lot. Wife getting anxious to start more projects around the house does as well, I have been lazy on that front for several months. Forza has for better or for worse become one of my lowest priorities.
So yea, thats why there's just been more and more delays lately. I'm just trying to keep it together for a few more weeks to wrap the tournament up. I'll probably still hold events occasionally on FM4 and Horizon but I can't guarantee when. | |

| I'm right with you on this, I just had to sell my house in Houston and Move up to Midland, TX (Oil Field) I asked acouple time if people needed help, but no body wants it. Most the time I can get home and a good time and then have nothing to do. There is NOTHING to do in Midland (Bowl and get drunk) and they are both boring, cause thats all we do. Let me know if you need help working these events. | |

| Do you work in the oil industry? I was just at training for a week with someone that worked down in Texas for an electric company, he said its crazy down there right now if you are in that field or work with people that are. Midland sounds really familiar, thats all, he may have mentioned it or that they had worked there in the past or something.
Good time with the 240SX btw. I ALMOST built one to autocross with as I had picked one up stock for $500. Putting together results right now. | |

| Yes, I'm a inspector for all the drilling tools that come out of the ground. I was at a oil rig last weekend doing a little work. Midland is crazy (work wise) right now. It's blowing up down here.
