Chicago Drift/Car Talk

So I've noticed there are alot of people on here are from Chicago. Figured Id start a discussion on the Chicago drift/car scene.

I personally cant want for the Automass Rd 3. (Specially if I can volunteer again). There will be a new venue for RD 3, hopefully it isnt too far. (I live 15mins from toyota park, which is one of the reasons I liked it lol)

No Star bash is also coming up April 6th. (which is a 4hr drive for me so I might go see what people have been working on all winter)

I have to actually make automass this year. I've been busy for like 3 yrs straight but I plan on it!

The first two automasses were held in the same year I'm pretty sure lol. First one was around last spring and the other, last fall.

The drive to Toyota Park from my area is a bitch haha. Roads are really bumpy and what not. I also heard that they might try to have it at the Sear's Center? Its a pretty big place and the surface is pretty smooth as well.

Depending if my friends drive NSB, I'll probably try to go as well.

Im definitely down for ANY drift event in the area!!!! Toyota Park is about an hour from Yorkville but that means mo pimpin on the tollway for me!!!

Where is No Star bash? I had lots of vacation time and i usually go to MotoGp in August and hit up every car show, drag event, cruise there is!! My 240 will be done soon but my DA stays ready to ride!!!!

Hopefully we can hook up during one of these events!!

Btw, any of you guys go to Stretch your legs 10? I was gonna go, but had to work that day :l Apparently some guy attempted to do a burnout in his beetle there lol.

This snowstorm...

its killing me, the cancelled classes like at 3pm. Dam college, they should have told us at 6 in the morning so we wouldnt have to deal with driving back home in this crappy weather.
However driving in the rain/ice in the morning was worse then driving back in the snow. Hopefully the snow wont get worse.

Snow = $$$$$ for me!!!! Just got done plowing!

Haha they closed off campus at 2 for me. Then on the way home, I ended up getting stuck with 2 salt trucks in front of me...Rinsed the undercarriage a shit ton as soon as I got home haha.

Hmm...this would be a good opportunity to shovel driveways...

Yesterday was such nice weather

ive been sick all day but ive heard like three of my friends' parents got stuck

i'm a courier so snow and dangerous weather means nice empty roads for me lol
in dunsfold a few years back (where top gear is filmed) i drove past a stuck landrover discovery haha and the guy i was delivering to hadnt had post in 3 days as 'no vans could reach him'
that was in my old fwd n/a diesel escort van
