Hey guys and gals, I'm looking to get a capture card but, I'm not sure what to get. I've seen some that are flash drives but, I'm not sure if that will work. Any help would be great.

The ones that look like flash drives are terrible quality. If you are looking for a good quality that isn't that costly I would say go for the Roxio Game capture card HD. I think its around £100-130.

how does it work? Like does it plug into Xbox or do you have to link Xbox to computer? My Xbox is in my Living room and computer in my office about 30ft away.

HDMI cable goes from your Xbox to the TV then the USB Cable goes from the capture card to your computer.

I have a Roxio GameCap HD Pro. There is a difference between the HD Pro and HD. Here's the Pro ($120 shipped from amazon).
and the standard HD ($60 shipped from amazon).

In my currency the Pro is only around £110 compared to a PVR that would be about 200-300 if I remember correctly.

PVRs are expensive, but they are much easier to use and are a little simpler to work (software wise).

I know, I wish it was a little less. I think 150 would be good, since it comes with the software and pretty easy way to use it.
