| It looks freakin' ugly, for one.
I'm just now watching the xbox presentation on TV and have gotten to the point where you can tell your xbox to turn on and it'll recognize your voice and turn on. That's awesome.
Discuss. Disregard this thread if there is another one in place somewhere else.

| Sorry, don't know the conversion haha. I just know it'll rape peoples' wallets. I'm not getting on launch day because I'm scared it'll muck up like the first few batches of the 360s did; what with them catching fire, the E74 error code and other jazz. | |

My first thought was... oh dear someones hacked the microsoft servers and replaced the images of the xbox one for those of a 90's hitachi hi-fi.... oh wait, thats really what it looks like? and xbox one? i already had one of those to play halo and confilct desert storm on?? durango would have been slightly shitter but less confusing

| the original xbox was $299 at launch the 360 was $299 at launch.... so... if the 'one'... nah the 'NEO' was conect bundled only i'd guess at a $399, if they do an 'arcade' with nothin but one controller and a note inside the box calling you poor scum it would in theory be $299 | |

| From a friend:
"So...new X-Box is called "One" and is built from the ground up around Call of Duty, EA Sports, and Kinect. Guess they chose their target audience. Also: No backwards compatibility and it doesn't play used games unless you pay a tax. EA's whole "we're done with online passes" doesn't seem so noble now, does it? They just got rid of them because they knew their favorite console would do the penny-pinching for them."
I'm now focusing on BMX as my main hobby. Lost a lot of interest and respect for the big console market after hearing this bullshit.

| I don't know how you paid $299 for the 360, because it cost me $450 without a game after a few YEARS lol. | |

| I'm planning on sending around $1000 when it comes out. I think that should be a safe guess.
New Xbox=$499.00 Extra controller=$65.00 Couple of launch games=$65.00 each Total =$694.00 then + tax=$1000.00
My guess or at least what I'm putting aside for it. lol

That makes more sense, that link from zavvi.

What ever mr gates wants, one of my friends only rents games throught the post via love film (game rental is the only reason the rental companies are not 100% online streaming only right now) And i know about the $299 arcade, no one in their right mind would buy one and say... ahh i have under 500mb to save EVERYTHING on my xbox...FAIL The info on Zavvi is literally someone pulling the trigger too quickly, as it has no details, just 4 pics (but no sign of the connect?) @ TX, i'll be doing the same, only with £600ish the paying to use second hand games is going to change the face of gaming, and not in a good way (if the ps4 doesnt follow suit, MS might be in trouble)

| Hopefully they don't follow. MS is out for money, is all.
The Kinect is in the console itself from what I saw on the conference.

| I really like the DVR feature! I wonder if that means no more capture cards? It says you can share replays with web sites. | |

| Show off your best moves.
Why let that once-in-a-lifetime goal go unnoticed? With Game DVR, it’s easy to capture your greatest game moments. Xbox One keeps a rolling record of your most recent gameplay, so you can go back and share replays with your friends on social networks and Xbox Live. And if you want to see what your friends have been up to, check out replays of their best moves, too.
