well hes a KA/T freak. when he owned that 240 vert he had a 350hp ka/T that he spun to 9k rpm (no rev limiter, and KA's are only ment to go 7500) he had a KA/T as a daily that blew. he bought a 240 hatch with a SR and blew it up, he put a VH45 in his 300zx and teh first one didnt last the first drift practice without getting rod knock lol heres his 300zx on a run the motor didnt go [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]my top 3 favorite motors got as so: LSX 1/2JZ 3UZ-FE

This season, my friend blew 3 engines and 2 tranny's and the third engine was after one day. depending on power there not that bad. the guy that organizes teh drift practices here has a 240 hatch with a SR he had rebuilt 7 going on 8yrs ago. stock bottom end S13 sr20 (stock as in OEM bearings, crank, rods, bolts ect) that dyno's 420RWHP, and in almost 8yrs hes never had to work on the engine. my old vert had a 450hp stock bottom end sr20 but he took it out

| Just read through so many Drift Works build threads and all I can say is I need an F****ing job so I can save up for a project car !!
I seen a 240sx near by me going for £900 it was stock all round but had a little rust on the body around the arch's and best of all it was a Manual (Most the ones for sale I have seen have been auto's)

| pig nose's are nice when there slammed to the ground. SR20's are good for low buck power (a few bolt ons and a S15 turbo and your capable of making 300hp) but everyone in there brothers mothers sister has a SR | |

| The endless possibilities with a 240...
The perfect setup for me would be a 200SX S13 (US 240 S13)and buy a JDM S14 front cut (US 240 S14) and do a front end conversion, SR20 with a few parts like an intercooler, S15 turbo and a straight pipe aswell as a set of JDM clear taillights finished with a set of coilovers.

| I'd like a Kouki with a 500 HP RB26DETT, but single turbo instead of twin. I love Kouki S14's. For coilovers, I'd probably put some Tein's if I can find them for a good price. Gunmetal gray Wedsport TC 105 N's, 18 inch. There are so many good looking kits out there, I probably wouldn't know where to begin. I would probably respray it to a Supersonic blue(the color on this C6 vette). The lighting doesn't show the color off ALL that well. | |

| Because in general, it doesn't look that good. I'm not saying YOURS doesn't look good, I'm saying in general, it's really hard to make it look good. I just wish we had actual conversions for them. Yours looks good though. | |
