| I recently purchased a 1994 Ford Mustang GT with Cobra intake and wheels. It also has a Cervinis body kit and hood (removed the wing to make it a slickback) and some other goodies. Well here are the issues: Bad suspension (Completely gone) Wheelbearings are fucked Power steering is going bad Needs new headers and maybe full exhaust Needs new door panels (getting some new ones from craigslist) Driver-side lock will not work from the outside What route should I go? I am on a budget so be reasonable. | |

| 10k in parts? I don't think so. I just spoke to some people on a forum for muscle cars and with about 2k I can get it all fixed.
Yeah the price wasn't bad considering it was from a dealership. Didn't buy from a private owner because I didn't have cash up front.
I checked out wheel bearings and they're like $50 new.

| its probably going to be more than 2k if you are going to replace everything you said. the headers alone will be at least $350 and then another 500 or so for the rest of the exhaust. and the suspension is going to be even more then that. and this all depends on whether you are doing it all yourself as well. oh and shipping all the pieces can add up too. i would say expect 2500-3500 for everything unless you want high performance parts | |

| I looked up some of the parts you listed and here's what I found.
Exhaust: $380 - $430, depending on where you get it from Headers: $270 - $800 Suspension: $1,200 - $1,500.
I'll everything else up lator on.

| DO NOT cut your springs, terrible idea. Power steering isn't needed, if you are wanting to race the car. What kind of racing are you looking at doing? Drag racing, just go OE replacement for the suspension. Something for autocross or track days, I'd say Eibach springs and Tokico struts. Wheel bearings are a must replacement as well. 50 is nothing compared to the damage a fail can cause. Why do you think the exhaust needs replacing? EPA standards where you are or do you just not like it? If you don't like it I'd put it lowest on your priority list, the other stuff you have mentioned is more important. | |

| Woh woh woh I don't want to race lol.
I want this to be my daily driver. I already got some advice from motownmuscle.com so it's all good.
I know my priorities thank you. Suspension and Wheelbearings come first. Then the exhaust because it has a leak by the headers and the tips are too large and need to fit inside the bumper.
I'm also getting the interior custom painted and the outside repainted black.

| Just daily. I'm giving it a flat black paint with red/orange roof and Boss 302 stickers. Besides that I might re-build the block and/or supercharge it. Mustangs are horrible for drifting unless you have loads of cash to dump in them. | |

They are not that pricey to drift. however i would recommend subframe connectors (weld in) before you start going nuts. I drift my 2000 gt and its not bad.
