BNB - FRS Stock Points Drift Challenge - *Challenge Closed* Entrants collect your prize money!

the only section where I am doing some excessive chokudori for points is after the first hairpin. All the other sections after the turns I am straitening out to try and pick up as much speed as possible for the next turn. I'd like to think its a fairly legit attempt for points with no shady techniques being used.

Tried that; You HAVE to brake at some point lol.

I have a tendency to pump the gas, or at least run part throttle in a lot of places in this challenge.

Im gonna try one last time tonight to beat camaroman's score when I get home from work. I didnt have time to try last night. I will probably save and upload a replay just for the hell of it though.

lol, comming down the S turns after the first turn.i tap the footbrake a split second to transition into the sharp left hander. it enter teh first turn in bottom of 4th, ebrake tight against the grass before the pavement changes color and just tap teh ebrake to slow me down i never usethe footbrake anywhere else

Just to clarify, everyone DOES know that it's the SHORT layout for Tsukuba right? Because I remember Camaroman mentioninng something about being in 4th gear while going around an S turn, and I never went into 4th for any turn.

I think he was talking about using the e-brake for the 2nd hairpin rather than the regular brake, and being in 4th coming off the front straight and downshifting into the first hairpin. He kind of described it backwards. I didnt go into 4th at all on the entire track, just wound out the car in 3rd gear everywhere.


This one was fun! I didn't think we'd be able to get this many points out of the stock FRS when I first hit the track with it! Kind of surprised we didn't have more people entering since BNB is mostly drift oriented. "Boo Hoo, I dont points drift! Its for noobs." Free money people...all you have to do is step up and take it...if you can.


I gave the challenge one more brief try last night, best score I was able to get was 25k something, I guess I was really on my game when I hit 26k. I have a tendency to get in the zone, then keep pushing until I am making a mistake on nearly every corner and I have to walk away.

I will have another challenge posted up tonight. I am thinking an autocross with BNB cars, but I am open to suggestions, or any input in general. Maybe a Point to point Touge time attack if TRK does not run one?

OH yea here I am complaining about lack of participation in an event that requires a DLC car. What a dumbass.

i would prefer touge as i suck at autocrossing whatever event we decide on ill give my car idea below.

Its gonna be touge with everyones BNB cars. I just have to pick which section. TRK did old downhill before, might do some or all of new downhill...

Or I just had another idea. We run 2 sections. Maybe 2 adjacent sections, or the same section uphill and downhill. You post results for both and add the times together for a total score. Maybe a little convoluted, but its something different......

I'd also be down for autocross. My vote would have to go to the Evo 6.
