Ahh police, what I meant was see those 2 lines running up the hood, make the nearest edge of the vent the same angle as those. It will make it look like the vent was designed for the car, to match the body lines. The rear fender looks pretty good now. I have never messed with vents or widebody stuffs myself so you are a step ahead of me.

Started on the front ones meanwhile, not 100% happy with them tho as they have such a race-look. Maybe it will be different once the fenders are on it tho. Opinions welcome.

For the front cut out push the black bit more in to the arch and reduce the length of the gradient , so it falls a little bit before the start of the door as for the rear I would so something completely different.

yeah IDK what i wanna do with the back. i suck when it comes to painting so im jus experimenting as of now

Just keep trying and experimenting and you will soon get the knack for it.

Tried to do some sort of rocket bunny thing on the rear.

i like that,i want a aggressive widebody, i just dont know how to start one right now. im looking at the real things right now..

after alot of redoing stuff, heres what i got so far, i still wanna do teh rocket bunny shading around the bumper tho.

If you could give me some feedback it would be nice. This is my first vent i have ever made.

Helping a friend with his Replica, he has done the base paint and logos, so his part is finished its just me that has to finish the kit now.

I can't do the front cut out since that part of the car is black.

Beedee- make his base a dark grey then you can do the vents.

camaroman, the front looks pretty good, the back is pretty dark, play with your transparencies to help it blend in a little more.

Simply sketched up a shape for the fenders i want to do. (The orange stuff)

i like that shape but i think you should bring it all the way up the panel

I did that before but i quite like it being that curvey because something more edgy doesnt work well on this car IMO, im not sure about the left / left bottom though.
I will still try to move the curvey part a bit more up and do another picture.

Police, don't use differant shapes as they will have differant widths so the outline will look werid.

Try using the tube shape on the first page I think it is.

@ Crook I tired that but it still doesn't look right and I don't want to change the clolour of the base too much.

Bedee, i only used it to get a idea how i want the shape, just as a simple sketch. Wont use exactly those shapes to do the fender.
