BNBDR- Built Not Bought Drag Racing Events- Official Thread

Hey peeps of BNB, welcome to BNBDR, as the title says. Here I'll be posting about events regarding drag racing and when they will be hosted. I'll try to do this each week so that we can alternate between "Rock it Stock", "TRK's Time trials", and "Drift Comp" events. That way we're not bored, you know? Here are the rules your car will need to follow to be eligible for competition.

C class:

Stock tires
No forza aero
The maximum amount of horsepower you can get until you reach C425.
No race parts
Cage required
Street weight reduction
FWD, RWD, or AWD

Street Tires max
No race parts except for suspension and rollbars
No forza aero
Same horsepower rules apply, except for B500

Sport weight max
FWD, RWD

A class:

Same horsepower rule, but for A600
Race weight
FWD or RWD(AWD not allowed)

I'll let you guys pick the first drag strip length and class. Everyone's votes count, so please be sure to voice your opinion. I'll say Sedona 1/4 mile with B class cars, just so the newcomers can participate as well.

Have you done any B class drag tunes yet? Just wondering what kind of times everyone is running.

Yeah, a while back. I used my Trueno but I do not remember the times. I'd have to go back and check later.

Building a shop car to sell. Got it to go 13:546 but I'm not sure how quick everyone else goes. With street tires it hinders a lot aha. Next time your on add me and we'll run a few.

I'm in for sure but if it's B class, can I put my stock engine? it makes me switch to A

What, like 12.7-12.9 range? How much power and did you do an engine swap?

I had around 300 but no cage. I don't think I'll be able to keep my engine swap to allow the PI post of full cage. Nothing is official I'm just testing waters before I do my actual build. It will be my first shop build and will befor sale.

I ran a 12.x13 with my Vauxhall.

Rules have been slightly revised. I think it's ridiculous for a B class drag car to have suspension that's not adjustable lol.

Leadfoot Tuned will be building a drag car to compete with.

I built a few cars this morning to test out and thought I had a great B class setup. I accidentally the Sport tires. Back to the drawing board lol.
