That's why we are using B class rules, so not all of us have fully built dragsters. It's all for fun. I don't know how to build one either, but I'm HOSTING the event lol.

A little googling pointed me to a thread about basic drag tuning on the FM.net forums. Pretty good tips in there!

A dedicated "built" BNB B-class drag car, from what I have played around with, is in the $30-40k range.

No!!! Do it like I ran my Touge Tournament in FM.net where I had a list of participants and whoever was on at the same time battled and that round would end at a certain deadline. Head to head racing will be much more funner than just posting our best times.

You dont match anyone with anyone specifically just grab whoever is on at the same time just to get through the rounds, trust me it runs smoothly (no pun intended).

Anyone with 35-40k willing to drop on a dedicated drag car, I have 2 setups for the B class rules that I can guarantee consistent mid 12 second passes with.

its cause everything (car and parts) brand new. speed aint cheap!

you might be able to get as fast for cheaper, I was only focusing on a couple cars, and trying to think about FWD drag racing makes my head explode. I don't have any idea about that. Smooth needs to get his ish together with that Civic so I can see what it do.
