| Wrong! I'll say which car in a bit :p 11/8/12 Anyway, dropped the 2jz in the Altezza, and I have to say, I'm pretty much in love with it. I've always wanted a 4 door daily/drift car. Heres the final product DD by MrTupas, on Flickr As of now, no big plans for it...I replaced the stock cams back on the Supra so that I could install them in the Altezza which was pushing about 385whp on the dyno. Probably gonna get new wheels for it eventually as I feel the 17s are too small for it. Then probably replace any oem parts that go out on me with better ones. SC300 by MrTupas, on Flickr As some of you know, I finally got the SC back on the road, looking better than ever! I seriously can't get over how cool it looks (imo). Although, after getting a chance to get some tandems in this car, I can't help but feel that this car is pretty...slugish. I guess thats to be expected from a 3000+ pound car. I was always against running the V8 in this car, but I'm not so sure now... Poopra by MrTupas, on Flickr And finally, bought the RG II for the Supra. Also got a free respray at my dad's friend shop since he had access to Toyota OEM paint. I really liked the white, but I sorta felt a little weird since it still felt like someone elses car, so I decided to go with a new look. Thinking about going wingless...Input would be nice | |

| Picked up a IMCA Dirtmod column kit with a 2:1 quickener for about $300. One of my buddies has a similar one in his MK3, and its been working out really well for him. Hopefully it'll help me as well. Decided that I would start sorting out all the wiring... And to top it all off, I finally got around to painting my interior. Always hated the tan...Should be finished painting the rest of the dash over winter break. In other news, Addie told me about "Drift Heaven Week", this cool thing that PowerVehicles does where they let you purchase any vehicle in their inventory and lets you drift around their track and stuff. Theres a lot more to it, but I don't feel like going too deep on it haha. Anyway, been interested in purchasing an s-chassis for awhile and with this Drift Heaven Week, it ended up convincing me to book a flight to Japan for the weekend. Ended up renting out 2 vehicles so that I could get a better idea of how I'd like to build a future s-chassis. | |

| Michael and I landed in Japan Saturday morning. 14 hour plane ride, and we were tired as hell. Anyway, as promised, Addie picked us up in his cool delivery car and we headed straight for the track to do some skid racing and what not. Power Vehicles hooked it up with a s13 vert missile for pretty much less than a grand. Japan Trip by MrTupas, on Flickr What was left of the rear end... I had no idea wtf "throttle control" was...Spun out and crashed a lot the first few laps, then I stopped being an idiot and drove it like how it should have be driven. Since the car was pretty much totaled, I was pretty sure that PV wasn't gonna take it back, so I suppose I'll let Addie hang on to it. Even though it was somewhat a waste of money, driving the s13 taught me a lot and has convinced me to break my 2jz streak and pick up a s-chassis soon...Spent the rest of the day just getting ride alongs and chillin with all the other drives. Pretty glad to be able to go on this trip. Anyway, to finish the night off, Addie took Mike and I out clubbing! After the crazy night, Addie dropped us off at the airport so that we could catch our flight home...sorta. Somehow, our flight ended up getting screwed over and before I even knew it, I ended up in Atlanta, Georgia... | |

| Haha yeah we'll have to go back to Japan soon And thanks for taking her, now I can break my Toyota/2jz streak! Update 12/23/12 So after landing in Atlanta, I decided to try and take advantage of the situation. You see, living in the midwest, most s-chassis, hachis, civics, etc. all suffer the "typical midwest" rust. So it was pretty hard to find a clean, rust free, car manufactured in the 90s. Anyway I immediately went on the local craigslist and tried to find a decent s-chassis for a project and to get me home. I stumbled upon a very clean looking S13 hatch as if it just rolled off the showroom floor back in 1994. SR swap, PBM coils, came with an Ichiba 5 lug conversion and some Weds TC105s still in box, and most importantly, RUST FREE! Oh, it also doesn't have powersteering? Don't care. No 1st gear either? Idgaf. Motor has a rough idle and smokes a bit? Can I test drive it today? I caught a cab to Road Atlanta to meet up with the dude there. Sure enough, probably one of the cleanest, stock looking S13 I have ever seen was right there sitting in the pits. 240sx by MrTupas, on Flickr The seller was nice enough to let me test drive her by letting me attack Road Atlanta... 240sx by MrTupas, on Flickr 240sx by MrTupas, on Flickr Decided to buy the car, canceled the flight, and finally started heading home. | |

| Go ahead and add 10k to your bank for the 240. I've already built the car, so no need to send it to me. | |

| Yeah man, I'm just pretty lazy to update my bank haha. Enjoy the 240 dude! Soooo anyway, I got home after a day and a half drive. I proceeded to buy some more cool stuff for the s13 Brides Defi gauges Personal wheel/quick release set up Ryan sold me his ings kit as well. Spent pretty much the whole day mounting the aero on and converting it to 5 lug swap. Currently how the car sits now. 240sx by MrTupas, on Flickr 240sx by MrTupas, on Flickr Then I picked up a T28 from Michael. I absolutely loved it and the car pull beautifully... but while I was looking through the latest issue of Import Tuner, I noticed that one of the local 370zs got featured. The Z Couple - Import Tuner Magazine by Brad Sillars, on Flickr The Z Couple - Import Tuner Magazine by Brad Sillars, on Flickr I've seen the car many times in person, but it it never ceases to amaze me at how beautiful it looks, especially wrapped in the Amuse kit. So I decided to sell the S13 so that I could start saving up for a Z34 of my own. I also received an email from Japan Auto, from Norway. Apparently, they were looking into expanding a shop out in North America and was planning to have Aasbo compete a lot more in Europe meaning that they were looking for a new driver to sponsor and that they wanted me to drive for them. I've always looked up to Aasbo. For one, he was one of the greatest drivers in Formula D (IMO). Also, he has the one of COOLEST Supras (Coming second to Orido of course) in the world! I always thought it would be a dream to follow in his footsteps, but now that I had the chance of making it come true, there was no question that I would turn them down! Looks like I'll be leaving again, this time to Cali to checkout the new Japan Auto headquarters, discuss all the details, and hopefully see the car that they want me to drive in. | |
