| I have to ask, for entering the event, any reason you cant just enter through the single player "Hot Lap" section? I mean, other than not being able to create restrictions. It still posts your time to leaderboards, etc.. | |

| I just set it up this way as its easier and the track and restrictions aren't always in the HotLap section. | |

| I dont know If I want to dump money into my SRT8 Challenger. Only motor swap is the Viper V10, and its really only a marginal bump in power. Supercharger is the only forced induction upgrade, its reasonably priced but also not much of a bump in power.
I might need to let this car go and switch to something with a few more options to upgrade.
Definitely something more old school.

| Think of the swap as a base for adding parts. That's how my LS3 swap is. It takes a lot of money to build the engine but if you're going to build an engine out completely, it might as well be the better engine.
Plus, you can put sick V10 badges on.

| I'm still gonna try to sell the car off and put the money towards another car, I can start out with a cheaper priced car and be well into the 11's for less than I have put into this 12 second challenger.
I'll lose money on the sale no doubt but whatever. Plus I alrady have something legitimately old school planned.

| @Kru - It depends on how you tune the car with the race springs. You need to raise the ride height back up and soften it right up. And for this chassis it works better with the stock springs. Way better weight transfer. | |

| A week before all these new drag events popped up I scrapped my gremlin AND 79 camaro. I own a 5.0, but was reminded yesterday no motor swaps for that, so lots o build $$. I am eyeballing a country squire right now. because woodgrain. 12k buy in, GT500 swap is not a bad start....Yeas its heavier. IIRC 40k or so should get me breaking 11's | |
