| Ouch, that engine has seen better days. Not a problem though, Ryan's a wizard when it comes to rebuilds. | |

| forgot to mention.. if your going twin scrool turbo, the downpipe doesnt matter, but the exhaust manifold has to be made for it, if you get a internal wastegate get a trin downpipe, itll be quieter since theres no open pipe for the waste gate. but if you get a turbo that requires a external waste gate you can get a sreamer pipe and be really loud lol god luck on the evo build if you need anything LMK | |

| Cheers Ryan I'm planning on custom Headers & Manifolds, a Garrett GT or GTX 3076R Turbo which is designed for the Evo X, TiAL Waste Gate modified to 1.8-2bar, not sure on the Dump yet might go for a Bailey Valve. Anyway did some ordering today for the EVO: New suspension, even had to order replacement struts as these are rotted or broken.
- HKS Pillow Ball Top Mounts
- Uprated Bushes
- Eibach Springs
- Tein Shocks
- H&R Sway Bars
- OEM Struts
- Polyurethane Suspension & Subframe bushings
Big Ass brake system
- Stainless Steel Brake Lines
- Brake Duct Kit
- AP Racing 6-Pot & 330mm Vented Front Brakes
- AP Racing 4-Pot & 304mm Drilled Rear Brakes
- AP Racing Master Cylinder
Some other bits
- Tommy Mackinen Edition front bumper
- Smaller more civil rear spoiler
- Rear bumper with diffuser
- MoTeC MDC Diff Controller
- Parts for Differential rebuild & strengthening
(Would those suspension modifications come under race or sport? I'm hoping street less expensive)

| Don't want race due to the low ride height pumping 40k into the engine alone... it's gonna be a beast Think I could mesh a Evo X 6speed tranny onto it? | |

| That's a pretty nice shopping list. Let me know when you order them, I'll order them through the garage's account. The manufactures tend to ship them quicker because we are a garage, instead of a home address. | |

| I'm ordering them today Lewis so that it's one major part finished.
Hmm, fair enough Ryan would of been nice what about an evo 8/9 6-speed? Would be cheaper then getting a custom or specialist gear box :/ Aiming for about 600bhp out of the engine when finished.
Spent the morning stripping down the second engine, head looks pretty good will need a new cover and replacement valves but the head itself is workable, going to leave the block unless I need spares the rod's blown through the casing so...

| Ordered them, when do you think you'll be able to get them? Gonna go get some wheels from a local shop as well soon so then it's just engine, drivetrain & internals. | |

| A cool breeze rolled through the half open container door, the insides illuminated by a harsh fluorescent tube bolted to the wall, I'd spent the morning stripping down the second 4G63, the head was in a much better state than the other one, I'd need to order new valves though totally shot on this engine, and some sheering of connecting bolts, nothing major overall.
Putting down the half drunk coke I started wrapping clothes round the working block and head, following that I bagged up all the separate parts that needed cleaning, I stepped out into the cool air listening to the purr of hyped up race cars and daddy's little european imports. As I carried the block with help of the engine crane to the boot of the bimmer, puffing smoke out my nose along the way, I couldn't help but smile it was the beginning of a wonderful thing.
I locked up the container and gave Lewis a ring as I started up the E30's engine, letting him know I was coming over, I pulled out onto the main road and had a daddy brought import blow past almost taking my front off, so I launched it in 2nd and quickly caught up but the weight in the boot and underpowered S14 couldn't keep up for long. I felt my pride shrink but also smiled, these punks didn't know what was coming to them.

| I sat in the my E30 outside the garage as the orange haze of the sunlit up the sky with a slight and far off moon, the ground rumbled as a tuned '95 STi shot past the garage it's metallic white paint glistening. It caught my eye for a moment then I was focused on the phone pressed against my ear again, smoke curled around the cabin, mumbling in acknowledgeable of the conversation my mind was looking at the sad and somewhat faded E30 interior, it should be re-upholstered soon.
Suddenly the female voice on the other end snapped my attention pack, "Anyway hun, just wanted to let you know that another Mitsubishi came into same as yours engine looks fine" there was a slight break of words, filled with the noise of heavy plant machinery, she knew she'd got my attention again, "I'll let you have it for free if you agree to go out for dinner" I could almost see the smile on the pretty tanned face, I made arrangements to go look at the engine first before I agreed, at that she rung off and I headed inside to talk to Lewis and unload the engine parts in the boot.
So with that, question is what to focus on next Internals or Drivetrain? Don't worry going to keep building up this huge engine and if this one at the yard is in as good a nic as she suggests it'll just be used to get the Evo moving and stop it standing.
