| Our last community discussion went unbelievably good, everyone pitched in which helped out a lot. This discussion isn't as complicated but just as important. A community member approached me today to let me know that he believes that the price of rims are too high. They used to be a flat rate of $1,500 but in the most recent price update we started using the actual in-game prices instead of the flat rate. My point of view: I calculated the prices on BNB to match the prices in-game as close as possible, even reducing some such as cams which are normally $10,000-$12,000. Along with this I also said that we will start using the in-game prices for rims which can be found in the link below. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Rims are something that people choose wisely and dont change much in real life because they are an expensive upgrade so the prices being a little over half of everyone's weekly pay sounds reasonable to me. Let me know where you guys stand on the topic!

| I think your right when you say that people chose wisely in real life. I just think 3,400-3,700 is a little too much. maybe 2,000 flat could be a better price? what do U guys think. | |

| The prices are really spot on as in real life a second hand set of rims can set you back anywhere from 250 - 1,000 euro, where as a new set minus the tyres can cost 1000+ depending on the manufacture in some cases | |

| My two cents:
With the junkyard and the cheaper parts coming I'd be in for a decrease in payday and a rimjob (lol) for the old price of $1,500.

| My 2 cents:
payday:
Keep payday the same.....$6k can get you some decent parts if you hunt them down but it makes you come up with a game plan to get your ride tight!!
Rims:
I say a small decrease in price maybe $3k flat. i have to agree with the fellas, Wheels are one of the things that may make or break the look on a ride. Drop them down too low and people (like myself) will stockplie rims like no tomorrow if they are too cheap!
Side note:
No TAx return? If we are collecting a "payday" then do we get a return?.....wait we didnt pay any taxes tho...nvrmnd.......lol
With the junkyard coming i would change the prices too significantly cuz them it would make the Junkyard useless

| The way I look at it is this:
I build beaters. I try to stick to a certain budget, and sometimes I like that budget to include a set of aftermarket wheels. I completely disagree with the statement that wheels are something a person thinks long and hard about - that definitely doesn't fit everybody. If you look at grassroots drifting, most of the budget-conscious drivers run factory or super-cheap rear wheels in an attempt to save the money for seat time. You'll see all manner of mis-matched sets of wheels, because it's just more cost effective to just pick up whatever wheel fits your preffered tire size (cheap and skinny for most low power guys) and is usually not really a matter of visual preference.
On a super clean, high budget car? Yeah. But those of us trying to work on a low budget are stuck trying to buy second-hand, which is FINE and more like real life in terms of grassrootsy stuff, but it elminates a lot of options for us, like choosing wheel size - making cheap wheels very hard to find.
I guess I'm just complaining because I'm limiting myself to a low budget, but if I'm honest, in the grand scheme of things, $3,600 seems like an awful lot of money for a part that just changes how your car looks more than anything.

| How about we pick a few cheap real life brands and lower the prices of those rims? Rims like Volks, Lexani, Asanti and whatever are very expensive in real life.
Maybe scale it like that? That way it's status if you're ballin' RE30's!

| It would add another level of effort, but I'd be more than happy to do the pricing for something like that. | |

| Rarer wheels, like old-school ones, would come at a premium for sure. | |

| I agree. cheaper rims for a cheaper price. more expensive rims for a more expensive cost. just like in real life. instead of all rims within 300 bucks. | |

| Just make the Rotas $2, and make a rule stating you should re-buy them whenever you drive more than a mile. | |
