Drag Racing: Is Anyone Interested?

If enough people are interested, we'll do 3 classes.

Stock, meaning whatever car you choose to race must not have upgrades. That'll be fun since everyone has different cars. Only if your car is AWD can you change the drivetrain to RWD or FWD since AWD is not allowed. Read further for more details.

A class, PI maximum 600. You can run any car you want as long as it's up to that specific PI or lower. No race or drag slicks, no forza aero, and a range of 450-500 horsepower. Roll cage is mandatory. I'll test some cars and then update the rules later.

Finally, unlimited class. This means you can have any car that's up to S700. Race/Drag slicks are permitted, as well as forza aero. Cage is still mandatory.

Once we expand a bit more as far as members, I'll get more strict as to what cars people can run and everything else. You can run FWD or RWD. AWD is prohibited because in some cases, AWD will win.

Might be cool to enter a B-Class as well, so the people can use their cars for multiple events :]

That could be a good idea. I'll test some things to make stock into street legal or B class.

If it's necessary I'll adjust the classes of the Time-Trials a bit.
That way people don't need to build different vehicles.

Just change tires, bolt on a bigger turbo and go to the next event : P

I'm liking the idea of using one car for multiple disciplines. I mean, I use my car for track days and drag events as well. I just change the tires and load different software on the cpu.

@TRK: I'll try, but I wouldn't know how to go about that without copying the time trials rules. I mean, not exactly copy/pasting them, but they would be very similar. I'll do that soon though.
